We had a photo shoot with these two little girls making mini apple pies. I thought I'd share the recipe with you.
The children loved their gifts, immediately pulling them on offer their heads, and were delighted to find the surprise dolls in the pockets! Mom, Dad, and Aunts loved them, too!
Gifted the pinafore-apron to my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it. And after she put her hands in the pockets her eyes lit up again when she discovered the small doll. Such a cute idea. Lovely linen and quality.
The children I bought these for loved them, and the 8-10 sizing was perfect for both the 8-year-old and the 10-year-old. Experience with ordering and shipping was also excellent.
My daughter immediately put it on and has barely taken it off since. She wears for arts & crafts, helping in the kitchen, and over whatever she is wearing simply because she likes it (especially the pockets). Modeling both sizes on one child (and listing their age) for comparison in your photos would be helpful in choosing a size. I chose the smaller for my average-sized six year old but it is a bit difficult to get on over her head.
The children's Pinafore-Aprons are precious -- most wonderful quality linen, most adorable design, such lovely color options! They are something that will last for years and years. My only one minor dissatisfaction is that there is not a size between the 4-6 and 8-10. The recipient of this apron falls right between the two where the 4-6 just fits (no room for growth) yet the 8-10 is quite large at the moment. I bought two (for two girls ages 4 and 6) so was able to try both on her. Being that they are expensive (but worth it as they are truly beautiful) I couldn't justify getting the smaller that would last at best a year (likely less), so went with the larger (which at the moment she swims in it).
