A duvet cover should fit the infill snugly - up to 6" smaller all around - to ensure that it doesn't shift. I have even put a king infill into a queen cover, with cosy results. Please measure your duvet, as infill sizes are not standard.
For all custom requests please fill out the following form: Custom Duvet Cover
Solid buttons will be black for Black and Charcoal Orkney Duvet Covers and white for Off-White, Natural, Dusk, Fog, Pear and Vintage Blue. If you would like a different button color (i.e. white buttons for black duvet or black buttons for the off-white duvet), please note this in the comments field for your order.
Material: 100% Linen. Heavyweight "Orkney"

queen 85" wide x 88"
king 106" wide x 90"

Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
I had been wanting linen sheets forever and my boyfriend decided to buy them for me for Xmas. From the moment I opened the beautiful package, I knew I was going to love them. My boyfriend then decided he needed a whole new bed and ordered his. I promptly followed up by ordering the duvet in dusk which is a perfect compliment for a chair with homemade slipcovers and my valances. A little luxury goes such a long way and makes me feel like a queen when I go to bed or just walk in the room! Thanks Rough Linen.
Absolutely incredible, high quality luxury bedding. Looking forward to my next purchase!
The quality and weight of the Orkney duvet surpasses anything else that I’ve seen on the market. This is the second set that I’ve purchased and my first that I bought 4 years ago for what is now in the guest room Queen bed is still just as luxurious as this new set for our Master King bed. The linen used for the Orkney will stand up to years of use only getting softer with every wash. We love the look and feel of the natural linen colour. Thank you RL!!
Love the color! It's beautiful against our natural linen sheets. The Orkney line is a bit heavier weight than others; hopefully, it will be super-durable! It is extremely warm these winter months with our down comforter, so will need to pare things down for the summer for sure. We are a little concerned about the zipper closure that we chose... the zipper used seems to be "lightweight" for such a heavy duvet cover. We are concerned that it may break over time with use. Also, it looks like there were two zippers that were joined/sewn together to make one, so it's hard to close. Finally, the opening for the comforter to be inserted is slightly small, so we need to be careful inserting and removing the comforter, not to tear the opening. We would recommend that you choose button closures instead, to be on the safe side! Aside from the technicalities and concerns of the zipper, it is a beautiful comforter that we love!
Just lovely ;so beautifully made and it feels wonderful to sleep in these duvets and sheets. Also the napkins have a most generous hem which makes them so luxurious. Thank you Rough Linen
