United StatesI just got two of the bolster insets and they are great. The king pillows are not bad and I have used them for years to stuff the bolster covers but they are a bit of a pain. These wool bolster inserts make easy work of changing the cover and they are a little firmer and hold their shape a lot better. Overall just look nicer and it feels more supportive on my back to me. Someone said you can't wash these but I think you could probably temporarily remove the filling and then put it back after you washed the cover if you had to do that. It is a cotton canvas fabric with a zipper. The wool inside looks to be high quality and they didn't skimp when they made it. Overall very pleased and it will get me to order more bolster covers in different colors now that it will be easier to change them. Pricey but they seem like they will last forever just like everything else I have ordered from Rough Linen. I hope they continue to carry this product because eventually I would like to get a couple more for my other bed.
United StatesThis bolster pillow insert is magnificent! I have tried oversized king pillows as well as king size dense bamboo pillows as inserts. Neither compare to the smooth, round shape the wool bolster pillow provides, never mind the support! A definite must have in my book! Will purchase for the other beds in the house!
United StatesWell made. Just the right degree of firmness. It isn't a problem for me, but buyers should be aware that the wool bolster is neither washable nor dry cleanable.
