At this stage of life I want to acquire fewer things and have become a more discerning shopper. It was perfect timing to have discovered Rough Linen!
My first purchase was the Pinny, which was the most comfortable and well-made apron I’d owned - and I have been gifted many as I’m the designated cook and baker for most family holidays. I’ve since bought several in different colors for myself and they’ve become my “go to” bridal shower gift.
I was delighted when Rough Linen began offering the Mirage scarves. I live in New England where they are perfect for our changeable weather. We often visit Denmark where my son and his family live. The scarves are lightweight but perfect to keep the chill off on a plane. They can finish off a dressier outfit or simply keep me warm if I’m out playing with my granddaughters. They more than earn the small space they take up in my luggage.
Our beds are now fitted with Rough Linen sheets and I set my table with your placements and napkins. At a time when I want to live more simply but well, I’m so happy to have found you.
This story checked off all my current opinions on living simply, and well. I will be replacing many of our bed linens with Rough Linen pieces, and I must take a look at the Rough Linen scarves. Wish I had been aware of this site years ago.

This article hit the nail on the head for me. I have not bought an apron or scarf but I have accumulated 2 sets of bedding, and curtains for my great room as well as pants and placements.
I want to live simply too! These linens have helped me adjust when I left my larger home behind after raising children. I have untethered myself from things I don’t enjoy anymore and gravitated to things that bring me joy.
