Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic. Allowance is made for shrinkage.
The sheet is a nice weight of quality linen. It was a bit scratchy at first, but quickly softened. The stitching is good; french seams instead of overlocking, and the elastic is much beefier than what you get from department store sheets.
"Rough" is a misnomer - it's perfectly textured, cool and comfortable. (If you like totally smooth satiny sheets, linen is not for you, but then you probably wouldn't be looking at this company anyway!) Now the only question will be longevity - I've had poor luck with other companies' linen sheets tearing after short use, so hoping for better here. So far so good, though!
I purchased a "DEEP" light gray linen fitted sheet to get the extra length to tuck under our mattress...I just turned my bed over for FALL and I love the color. It actually had a hue of blue to it and it's well made and I love the feel of the rough linen. Here's to FALL God Bless Amen Jesus LOVES us Amen
I purchased my first bed set in 2013 and have loved it ever since. I purchased two additional fitted sheets - to give me time in between washings! I use these sheets year round and all year. They wear beautifully, and almost 8 years later feel luxurious, soft, and warm or cool depending on the season. Tricia does beautiful work and I love Rough Linen!
Best fitted sheet I own. Love the color, feel, and quality.
