Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.

love the dark placemat for everyday use. They launder well and do not show stains. Sets off dinnerware and dinner nicely. I love that they are ultimately biodegradable, not plastic, and support a woman-helmed small business.
I got 10 blush linen placemats and used them on a white damask table cloth with roses, votive lights, and heart shaped cookie cookies with everyone's names as place cards all for valentines day dinner for 10....it was fabulous! Thank you Rough Linen (it isn't really rough at all.....) Then the next day I put them through the wash, and they came out good as new....
I set the table with all the linens I ordered and presented them as they had been online, and I was delighted with the result. I’m thinking about getting another set in opposite colors (natural cloth with white accessories was what I purchased, now considering white cloth with natural accessories).
