Material: 100% Linen. Textural "Waffle"
Dimensions: Small, Medium, Large and X-Large
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
I love wearing this robe lounging around at home--I feel like I'm at a spa. It's very comfortable and has an elegant look and feel to it. I got the beige color, which is lovely. The only thing I dislike about it is something another reviewer mentions: there are two sets of belt loops, and that just doesn't look quite right. I only use the top loops as the bottom ones are too low for me. It's be better if there were an option for a higher or lower belt loop. Anyone around my size (a petite woman) would prefer the higher loop I would think.
I purchased two of these beautiful linen waffle robes for my sister and brother in law. They both love the robes and love having twin robes. They thought that was a fun detail. This robe is beautiful.
I took some time to review this robe because I wanted to see how well it would hold up after a wash. I love the feel and weight of this robe — surprisingly warm for linen. The one thing I don’t like about the robe is the two sets of belt loops — which appear to have been added after a customer complaint. Just washed the robe in cold water. Would normally line dry but it came out covered with a lot of fuzz. I tumble dried in on delicate by itself and the dryer screen was full of lint. I’m hoping it doesn’t shed as much upon subsequent washes. Otherwise, am enjoying this product.
I was really wanting to love this waffle weave linen robe. I find the robe (material) heavy, the fit unwieldy, the body large in relation to slim and too short sleeves.
Unfortunately I returned this item even though I loved the color and texture of the fabric as it was way too wide for me, the shoulders were slightly too tight when getting into the robe and the belt loops on this particular robe were set too low so that it felt like I was wearing a man’s garment. With slight changes to the dimensions of this item I would certainly consider purchasing one to try it again.
