These were our guidelines for making our version of the perfect robe: A flattering, smart collar which frames your face and fits to your neck. The body is modest, but not voluminous – you want to be able to get to both pockets. Length is mid-calf or a little longer depending on your height, you don't want to step on it. Gaping sleeves annoy me, so the sleeve is neatly fitted to the wrist and the cuff can be turned back. No more dipping your cuffs into the marmalade.
Material: 100% Linen. Mid-weight "St. Barts"
Sizing:Small through Extra Large
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
I think I had hoped the color would be prettier...it’s quite natural but in a drab way. And also The size is larger than I expected, so it’s just not as flattering as I’d hoped. But it is good quality
I had my eye on the St Bart's robe for some time, when I decided to purchase my color choice was no longer available. I checked back for a couple weeks then decided to contact customer service. I received an email from Jennifer the same day, she said she would double check to see if they had the any of the fabric in stock, she reported back that they had enough to make a robe for me! The robe arrived quickly and was beautifully wrapped in tissue with a ribbon, and a gift of a sachet and two lovely dryer balls were included! The robe itself is lovely, the storm color is beautiful, it satisfies my longing for simplicity, quality and comfort. As described in your company story, your team made a connection with me that was personal and provided a product created with artistry and pride! Mission accomplished! Thank you!
I had wondered about the linen robes having bought the bath sheets previously and loved those. Finally bought the robes and they are so wonderful. They feel very comfortable and look great, takes up much less space on the back of the door than the old toweling ones. Would love a simple nightshirt in the same material.
I bought the St. Bart’s Linen Robe for myself about a month ago and I couldn’t be happier with it. The size L fits me perfectly (6’ 2”; 205 lbs; 35” sleeve). The oatmeal color is really nice. And it feels great, whether in warmer or colder weather. My wife thinks it was a great buy!
