(If you are serious about keeping your bread as fresh as it possibly can be, use a three-pronged approach: put the bread into a linen bag so the crust stays dry, then in an air-tight enclosure so it doesn’t dry out, and refrigerate to preserve it.)

Dimensions:
Square: 12" x 12" for round loaves
Long: 12" x 17" rectangle for long loaves
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
