I'm a recent convert from sateen sheets, but had only used the "soft" kind of linen sheets. Then I began reading linen aficionados talk about the wonder of heavy, substantial linen, and decided to try the Orkney line. I ordered the Limited Edition duvet cover in Merlot, and immediately knew I had something magical when I opened the box. The fabric was rich, silky, nubby, and had a lovely drape. I couldn't stop at just one, so I luckily nabbed the very last Ochre duvet cover. This was due to Jennifer's amazing customer service. She held it for me while figuring out whether they could change it from cal king to king. Not only could they do it, but they did it so quickly I received it only days later. Through it all, Jennifer kept me up to date via e-mails. Finally, the zipper option is wonderful. It keeps any loose down inside the comforter. I'm so looking forward to more Orkney colors so I can keep collecting more!
gorgeous colour, beautiful hand, and great details - no plans to leave the bed rest of the summer
This blanket seems to be sent from the heavens. I have no choice but to accept that it is carrying some type of invisible goodness with it. 4.9 overall rating is still an inaccurately and deceivingly low rating. I have a wool duvet cover in it and the combo is perfect. This was the final piece of my all natural bed (latex, linen, silk, wool, down) and I know it's making a huge difference in my healing and connection to nature. I worked in quality for my short and successful career, and only settle for the best of all things I buy and still I am impressed. It's the ideal thread for my dirty vanlife too. I hope the controlling forces of the universe show an abundance of love to the people and plants in the Rough linen chain of workers. They are doing a deeply and simply good thing getting these fibers around us during our vulnerable and sensitive time spent in the dream dimension. My best guess as to how this all works is along the lines of vibratory frequencies and Rough linen has the goods! Thank you all!!
