Our Orkney Linen Kitchen Must-Haves set includes four items: one square bread bag, two tea towels, and one half apron, all in our heavyweight textured Orkney linen.
Linen stays fresher because it dries quickly and is inherently anti-microbial, which is particularly useful in the kitchen.
Material: 100% Linen. Heavyweight "Orkney" 7.7oz/sq.yd

Dimensions: The bread bag is 12" square (for round loaves), the tea towels measures 27" long x 18" wide, the half apron is one size.
Care: Machine wash, dry outside for preference, do not over-dry. Dampen fabric to make wrinkles disappear.
The pear color is gorgeous, almost a chartreuse, and the linen is such high-quality. It simultaneously has a substantial heft to it and yet is super drapey and elegant and makes you feel fancy (which can be a real boost during a global pandemic, especially when you just rent a tiny apartment). The dishtowels are the best and speaking as someone who almost flunked her 6th grade Home Ec sewing class, those mitred corners on the towels are really lovely to look at and and I appreciate the craftmanship. All of these items feel like they will last a lifetime. Totally worth it. No regrets.
They loved it. It was great for both, practical yet luxurious.
My niece, who loves to cook, was very excited to receive these elegant linens for her kitchen. The grey Orkney is so sophisticated and should go well in any kitchen decor. Not sure if the "bread bag" will be used for bread...maybe something else.
The linen bread bag keeps my homemade Tartine style bread good for several days (as long as a loaf lasts at my house). And it is a stylish and convenient way to take bread to a friends home to share. I enjoy wearing the apron. I like that it is long. The towels are a must-have for everyday use. They are so versatile. They can dry dishes of course, or be the bread proofing cloths, or be a bit of decoration under a cheese plate or a vase of flowers. I liked my set of these items so much that I purchased another one for my oldest daughter.
Bought one for a gift and one for my kitchen. They are definitely essentials. Useful and very nice looking too. A good investment.
