Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic. Allowance is made for shrinkage.

      Fitted is the best

Who can go wrong with rough linen. These are the best fitted sheets ever. Deep with an excellent elastic. I am buying fitted as I need them to use with my flat bottom sheets. I have discovered that there is a reason we progressed to fitted sheets. So. Much. Easier. Especially with huge thick modern mattresses. Thank you, Tricia.

      Only the best!

Been using this fitted sheet for a few days now and just love it. It just looks so good! Plan to mix sheet colors in the future as I move along with updating the bedroom. Many, many thanks!

      I love linen.

This is my second purchase of a linen fitted bed sheet. So, right there it is apparent that linen sheets are a "must have" item for me. I love the feel of linen sheets, towels and pajamas. And linen's antimicrobial properties are an added plus. That funky smell that cotton develops (especially in towels) and never quite washes out is never an issue with linen. I am not sure when I purchased my first fitted linen sheet - maybe a couple of years ago? I had to replace it because it wore through in a particular quadrant. Based on the location I believe the cause was my partner sleeping shirtless which caused the sheet to absorb oils and sweat from his skin. I would bet interested to know if others have experienced this. In any case my top sheets remain in excellent condition.

      Terracotta fitted sheet

I just tried my first fitted sheet from RL. The terracotta is a lovely color. It adds warmth to my room when outside my bedroom window everything's white. Yet the color isn't too warm. There's a touch of peach/pink to this color instead of the very warm cinnamon and clay colors that sometimes make this warm sleeper sweat just by looking at them. I really like it. It's a lovely, fine-textured fabric that will be a pleasure to break in over time. Anyone who is sensitive to texture and needs something very soft and smooth from the first night of sleep won't likely enjoy this fabric (at least not in this color as there may be slight differences in the smooth linen from one color to the next). Of course there's also the slightly softer aqua (the only color I've tested) St. Barts weight linen for those who need something softer to try. I always recommend getting swatches before you buy. I don't mind that this fabric is slightly rough. (The name of the company says a lot.) What I do mind is when linen fabric has been softened to the point of getting holes in it within the first six uses. I've had that happen. I don't foresee that being a problem here. I enjoy experiencing the increasing softness with every use. Despite everything I like about this sheet, I gave it four stars for a couple reasons. First off, sizing-wise, the 15 inch depth of my mattress is proving to look so-so with the deep-fitting sheet (but was too deep for the standard one). It doesn't help that the fitted sheet that was on my mattress previously fit it perfectly. From here on out I'll stick to oversized flat sheets from RL and tuck them in. And secondly, the elastic isn't all the way around the fitted sheet, and it's exposed. There is a strip of elastic on both ends, and it's visible on the underside. All of the other fitted sheets in my home have fabric-covered elastic, and it runs all the way around the sheet. I prefer that finished look and fit. This looks a tad homemade.
