These linen coverlets are perfectly plain, double-sided linen blankets with a light 100% cotton filling. Layer on the bed when you feel like a little extra comfort and reassuring soft, complex Orkney linen texture. The contemporary counterpart of a traditional bedspread, quadrant seamed and with discreet, simple, tufted quilting. Available in a Throw size, or Queen and King.
We recommend dry cleaning, although customers have said they washed their light coverlets successfully.
Individually cut and crafted in California. Made to order.

Excellent product after a couple of weeks. Nice heft and feel….warm enough for 40 degree weather and 68 on the thermostat. Suspect it’ll be warm enough when below freezing. Nice size on our queen…..spouse can steal some and I still have plenty!
I just received my wool coverlet a few days ago and love it. It looks and feels amazing and has been a joy to sleep under. I live in a condo and have radiator heat, so managing the temperature can sometimes be tricky. I’m never quite able to get it as cool at night as I’d like, so I need a quilt/covering that provides some warmth in winter, but isn’t too hot. I did a fair amount of research and settled on wool for a variety of reasons. From there, since I already own several of their bedding pieces, including sheets, it wasn’t a leap to choose the wool coverlet from Rough Linen. But I have to say the wool coverlet has exceeded my expectations in how beautiful it is! I’m very pleased with my choice and am confident it’s a piece that will bring me years of comfort, warmth and beauty!
The quality of the coverlet is wonderful, I can tell a lot of hard work, skill and love went into creating my king sized light linen coverlet. My only hold back on giving it 5 stars is that the coverlet is much more oversized than I anticipated. My mattress is 16" on a 8" platform and the coverlet puddles on the floor. I do wish it were smaller in size, but expect it to be perfect to double up for the fall and winter.
Love the weight of the Coverlet! Perfect to pair with summer blanket if a little chilly and will be perfect when the weather gets cooler in the fall and winter! It is expensive but worth it! Sleep is amazing!
I order two sets, one for the master bedroom and one for the guest bedroom. I love them both, very natural looking and warm!
