We always recommend ring-clips – not only do they draw more easily, you can adjust length and create inverted pleats, even hang a blackout layer without interfering with the flow of the linen. The easiest way to find the ring clips you want is to Google ‘drapery ring clips' and then click Images. No wading through ads or descriptions, just useful pictures.

Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
These curtains arrived beautifully packaged, and nestled amongst them was a lavender sachet so the entire order smelled wonderful. After hanging the curtains, the breeze began to blow and the billowing material released the lovely lavender scent throughout the house. Our farmhouse has these in every room, and we get a LOT of compliments on them. They let in just enough light when closed against the fierce Texas sun, yet provide a good amount of coverage in the evenings when we close them. We've also noticed that now, as the weather cools, the curtains help keep the cold out when closed. I love Rough Linen, and have never been disappointed with the products and service I've received.
The item - smooth linen drape is exquisite. I love your linen. BUT the shipping, customs clearance, handling charges etc for Canada is excessive. I buy from US sites regularly and I understand customs. The handling etc charges from DHL are uniquely aggravating. How do other smaller, high quality companies do it?
The tiny en-suite bathroom in my mountain home has a corner shower with a ceiling-mounted track that sports little clips for a curtain. Because Trish offers her curtain panels individually, it was convenient for me to order one of longer panels to use as my new shower curtain. Unlike the former polyester one (ugh!), it doesn’t annoy me when I inevitably bump into it whilst showering and it dries super-fast. I did have to fold the top over a couple of times before attaching the clips to get the right length, but that was easy. It looks nice with my new linen towels (which I adore). Rough Linen continues to delight me.
I used the panel to make 2 cafe curtains. The linen is of lovely quality and it arrived with only a mild manufacturing odor, which washed out. I am chemically sensitive, and low odor, minimally treated fabrics are rare and a godsend. (Many so called organic fabrics are not and cause me much distress.) So, on this account as well as the quality of the curtain, I Ihank you!
These are just beautiful, and so nicely packaged, with grosgrain ribbons and a fat pouch filled with fragrant lavender ❤️ The fabric feels divine and is just heavy enough to drape prettily and cut harsh sunlight at various times of day without darkening our rooms. It’s much cozier here now, too.
