Material: 100% Linen. Heavyweight "Orkney"
58" wide x 84" long
58" wide x 96" long
2” casing at the top, 5” closed hem at the bottom.
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
I always recommend ring-clips – not only do they draw more easily, you can adjust length and create inverted pleats, even hang a blackout layer without interfering with the flow of the linen. Easiest way to choose ring clips is to Google ‘drapery ring clips' and then click Images. No wading through ads or descriptions, just useful pictures.
These are four panels of the longer length natural Orkney linen curtains, hung on rings. The entire span of the sliding door area including frame is approximately 112 inches. I’m thinking of adding another panel for a fuller look. Not sure yet. So happy we finally got around to doing this, the afternoon sun is intense, and now we have some privacy in the evening
The quality is gorgeous. Love these curtains and will purchase again. Thank you for a very nice shopping experience.
Ordered these in the white for our master bedroom window, Arcadia door, and a swing door. Hung on black French return rods with clip rings in an eclectic decor, they are a perfect blend of casual and iconic. The bedroom is bathed in a gorgeous warm glow, while feeling completely private. I may consider adding a blackout curtain to the Eastern facing window to darken the blazing peach light of sunrise; but it is a fairly spectacular way to wake up...so maybe not. Beautiful quality and a simply perfect drapery. Couldn’t be happier.
The light during the day shines through softly and at night they keep out the glow from the street lights completely. Perfect!!
These lovely and hefty drapes arrived just in time for me to create a wildly inspiring new look to our guest room-known at this cottage as the bunk room-I have been teddy bear sewing and bandbox covering in a room quite spiffed-up and flooded with light whose purpose has been re-created into studio. Guests will come again sometime and they too will admire these lovely linens for the sleep-inducing darkness they provide when drawn closed.
