Material: 100% Linen. Midweight "St Barts"
Dimensions: This is a bundle of several products. See individual product pages for measurements.
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
Love it! I was looking for a duvet and shams, and initially I thought the Aqua was too bright, but I got it as napkins and in person they’re a very pretty Tiffany/robins egg blue. Cool, soft, good quality/weight, would buy again!
I have linen sheets from Rough Linen which I love! This duvet cover is a nightmare! I so wish I could give a 5 star review. Sadly, it sheds blue lint balls all over the place!! My king down comforter was covers in BLUE. I tried washing it twice immediately after hoping that would do the trick, but no luck. Four was laters and it’s ridiculous!
These are the best sheets I’ve ever used. Soft but firm, and very breathable love the texture.
Excellent! I asked for a non-specified shipping method that would get it to my country faster and they very quickly responded and organised it.
this is a two part review. three years ago I purchased the queen bed makeover with orkney duvet cover, orkney summer cover, orkney shams and the smooth white sheet and pillow slips. The packing was perfect and the look of the items received was artistic with great attention to detail and expert sewing. like many of the other customers posting reviews I was concerned with the high cost of the set, however going by the existing reviews it seemed that these would be a "life time investment" so I went ahead and ordered the set. I have been using the orkney parts of this set for three years now and they have been great and shows NO signs of wear. I wash them weekly in an older large capacity top loading washing machine, using only the recommended Le Blanc linen wash and cold water. I line dry outside in the shade. so my rating for the orkney parts is a strong 5 stars and I still love them. The problem, however is my smooth white sheet wore out and started getting holes in them at only 11 months. I had to stop using the sheet and went back to my over 10 year old cotton sheets. I continued to use the smooth white pillow slips until at around 18 months when all at once they started getting holes and ripping all over. so my rating for the smooth white sheets would be quality of the sewing by RL 5 stars. long term quality of the material used 0 stars. when my sheet and pillow slips started ripping apart, I reached out to Rough linen two times to see if anything could be done, or any recommendations for a stronger sheet but both times I found myself talking with a helper who did not seem to know or care about the problems I was having with my sheets "Sorry this is the only sheet we sell" I have just now bought the St Barts bed set in aqua, and it is just beautiful, consisting of a much thicker linen than the smooth. it appears that it should last quite a while like the Orkney has. I love rough linen, and I always try to support local business, but after searching for over a year for suitable linen sheets that I can actually afford to use, I found a complete 100% linen sheet set (made with the same type and thickness of linen) at Ikea for 1/4 of the price. so for the beautiful covers in the thicker materials (I will be purchasing a quilt next) I will stick with Rough linen. but for sheets that will last, I have had to keep looking.
