Dimensions: Measures 38" x 70" with a 2" hem all around, mitered corners, and a 4" loop to hang it by.
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
Love the linen towels and will never return to terry cloth. They feel wonderful, absorbs quickly, massages the skin, and no musty scent later when hanging up! They look beautiful and the linen lasts. In the long run, they are quality worth more than their initial investment.
I just bought two bath sheets, 1 in natural and 1 in dusk. The natural one is great. It is as expected with a crisp 'hand' that I'll love after a shower. The dusk was not as expected as far as the fabric goes. There are so many lighter colored pieces of flax woven throughout it, one of them many inches long and wide enough to be extremely noticeable. I'm used to a few small (centimeter or so) of these lighter pieces as I also own the dusk shams and some washcloths. I ADORE the color dusk, but I can't recommend this fabric with all of these lighter pieces woven throughout it. Rating: 3 for the dusk and 5 for the natural, averaging to a 4 stars.
Excellent quality and size! We can never go back to fluffy towels again
I bought a few of these bath sheets after the past heatwave in southern CA. During that, I used a soaked and wrung out RL bath towel (which is smaller) to sleep under. As the water evaporates, it cools you down. Woke up to a nearly dry and not at all clammy towel and bedding and feeling like I’d gotten the needed respite from the heat of the day without having to use my A/C. I got the larger bath sheets for more coverage, but not so large that there was wet material soaking the bed or dripping onto the floor. I will admit that the first few seconds of covering your body with a cold wet towel is a bit unpleasant. The initial shock goes away quickly and I fell right to sleep. Not the standard review, but I figured it might be useful info this summer, and especially for those up in the PNW right now.
have been buying Rough Linen for years. I LOVE their linens. But the last year or so I have ventured into the color fog and have had extensive lint issues. In the picture is a vintage blue towel washed with 2 new fog bath sheets. The lint gets on EVERYTHING I wash it with. It's obvious on the vintage blue but really can't been seen on the fog. However, when you dry off with a towel with unseen lint, the lint rolls up and attaches to your wet body. Its very unpleasant. Last year, I returned a charcoal robe for this same issue, but thought it was robe specific. It doesn't seem to happen with my washcloths. I even took apart and cleaned my washing machine to make sure very bit of lint was gone. The lint continued. I do not happily write this. I love Rough Linen products. I would continue to buy them if the lint issue is resolved. For now, I am using piles of lint rollers sheets with every wash, and I’m going to wash the new items dozens of times without using them to see if that helps. I hate dryer dried linens, which would probably help. I indoor line dry. Any advice would be appreciated. Right now it doesn’t look like the website is letting me add pictures I will see if it will let me later
