These were our guidelines for making our version of the perfect robe: A flattering, smart collar which frames your face and fits to your neck. The body is modest, but not voluminous – you want to be able to get to both pockets. Length is mid-calf or a little longer depending on your height, you don't want to step on it. Gaping sleeves annoy me, so the sleeve is neatly fitted to the wrist and the cuff can be turned back. No more dipping your cuffs into the marmalade.
Material: 100% Linen. Mid-weight "St. Barts"
Sizing:Small through Extra Large
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
My mother lives in Colorado, so linen is a seasonal fabric for her. However, she was overwhelmed at how beautiful and luxurious the robe was when she received it! She will be wearing it as often as she can, and couldn't thank me enough for the gift.
High quality linen robe. Very comfortable to wear in the warm weather. The linen is light enough. to breath, but substantial enough to stay in place. Fits perfectly!
I love this robe. The fabric is a beautiful weight and fits well based on the size chart recommendation. The only aspect that was a bit surprising to me was the color. It is white, but its a really warm, creamy white, especially compared to other white linen shirts that I have. I kept it because of its lovely quality and feel.
Love these robes, such beautiful fabric and well-made. They are generously cut, more so than the size chart indicated - I’m 5’4”, 125# and usually wear a size 6, but the medium was too large so I exchanged for a small. The petal pink is light, but not see through. My husband is 5’11” 165# and he preferred the relaxed fit of the large. Wonderful customer service via the phone and very fast shipping.
