Material: 100% Linen. Textural "Waffle"
Dimensions: Small, Medium, Large and X-Large (see size chart)
Care: Machine wash with a small amount of gentle detergent, not Tide. Tumble dry on hot or medium, and remove from the dryer while still very slightly damp so wrinkles do not set. Shake the fabric out flat and smooth it with your hands. If you can dry outside, let fresh air and sun work their magic.
Made in Lithuania.
I love my other linen robe for summers around the house or as a pool cover-up, but this one is the real keeper. It is thick, soft as a purr, and really comfortable. I love the nice big pockets and wide belt, secured by sturdy loops at the waist. I suspect I’ll be happy with this through winter, though I liked it earlier this summer with the air conditioning on, too. I’m glad I splurged on it. Since Trish mentioned it runs large, I ordered a size down from what I would normally choose, at it fits perfectly.
The waffle weave makes this an extraordinarily thick and warm bathrobe. It's lovely. However, I've had this robe for a few months now and despite not using it in the warmer months, the waffling on the seat is already wearing flat. It makes this luxurious robe look tired and undignified.
It’s a great robe. Hubs liked it so much that I bought one for him, too. We are now matchy-matchy.
It's just OK. I have a set of waffle weave all linen towels made in Lithuania that I purchased 3 years ago in Sweden, and assumed the robe would be a similar weight. But the robe is MUCH heavier and bulkier. Since this is a summer/fall bathrobe, I really think the fabric is too heavy.
As others have pointed out, the robe is heavy and big, but I like it that way. It’s mot cheap, but for something I wear every day, it’s worth it.
