    WASH INSTRUCTIONS

    • Button Up: Before washing, remember to fasten any buttons or closures on your linen items.
    • Gentle Machine Wash: Machine wash your linen with like colors in a small quantity of mild detergent. To preserve the quality of the fabric, avoid using detergents like Tide. We recommend using cold water to be energy-efficient, but you can safely boil-wash linen if needed.
    • Dilute Your Detergent: Never pour detergent directly onto dry fabric. Always dilute it first before adding it to your linen. The fine print on the back of detergent bottles is there for a reason!
    • Say No to Bleach: Never use bleach, even on white linen. If you encounter a stubborn stain, try using an enzyme-based cleaner. Brands like Dirty Labs or Ecos offer excellent stain-fighting options.
    • Biz Soak: You can use a Biz soak, but make sure to dissolve and dilute it well before applying it to wet fabric.
    • Eco-Friendly Options: Consider using environmentally friendly detergent sheets like Earth Breeze or Tru Earth. They not only keep your linens clean but also save space on your shelf.

    DRY INSTRUCTIONS

When using a dryer, opt for a medium or hot setting, and make sure to dry the linen by itself. Avoid over-drying, as this can lead to excessive wrinkling. When the linen is still slightly damp, give it a gentle shake and lay it flat. This natural drying method enhances the linen's soft, intricate texture.

In the event that you accidentally overheat, overcrowd, or over-dry your linen, resulting in wrinkles, don't worry. Simply dampen the affected area, and the wrinkles will naturally relax. For smaller wrinkles, like those from pegs on a line, use a spray bottle of water or allow the linen to smooth itself out over a day or two.

If possible, consider line-drying your linen. Let the fresh air, wind, and sunshine work their magic, preserving your linen's quality and freshness.

Seeing a significant amount of lint when you first wash your linen is completely normal. Linen is known for its durability and resilience, and it's not uncommon for it to release some lint during the initial washes. This is a natural part of the fabric's character and doesn't indicate any quality issues.

To minimize lint, we recommend washing your items separately for the first few washes. Over time, the lint will decrease, and your linen will become even softer and more comfortable with each wash. So, don't worry—your linen is just getting cozier!

We wrote a blog post on this here.

We recommend avoiding the use of typical fabric softeners and dryer sheets on your linen. These products can leave behind residues that may hinder the natural qualities of linen, such as its excellent absorbency and breathability. Linen is known for its ability to wick moisture and promote airflow, which can be compromised by the use of fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

If you're looking for a natural alternative to soften your linen, consider adding a small amount of white vinegar (1/4 cup) to your wash. Vinegar not only helps soften the fabric but can also assist in reducing any lingering detergent residues.

To maintain the integrity of your linen and enjoy its full range of benefits, we suggest skipping traditional fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

Our sheets are water-processed, which means they are clean and ready for use straight out of the box.

However, if you prefer, you can certainly wash them before using to ensure they have the fresh scent and softness that you desire.

    FABRIC

Our Raw Edge collection features a stabilized raw edge finished with a triple-stitch for a distinctive, natural look. The slightly thready appearance is intentional and adds to the design concept. Rest assured, these edges won't unravel due to the triple-stitch, ensuring the product's structural integrity. After the initial wash, you may notice loose threads, but this is a common occurrence with our Raw Edge collection.

Over time and a few more washes, these threads will stabilize, and you can simply trim any excess threads to maintain the product's appearance.

We try to use only environmentally friendly methods and dyes. All of our fabrics are certified by the Oeko Tex organization that tests our products for over 100 harmful toxins and chemicals before approving it for public use. Our fabrics do not have organic certification.

We currently work with six-seven mills for our range of fabrics.  Most are in Northern Europe, but our sheeting is woven in India, from Belgian flax.

We’re sorry, we are currently not taking custom colors at this time.
